My supervisor wanted the staff to do a book study and keep a journal of their reflections after each chapter. I happened to overhear her talking to the secretary about ordering bound journals for everyone. As the campus Technology Integrationist, I was always looking for an opportunity to teach the faculty something that they could in turn use in their classrooms, so I suggested they use a Google Site as a portfolio of sorts for the book study. I created this screencast so that the staff could learn as much or as little about Google Sites as they needed in an asynchronous environment. This screencast is actually a series of five shorter videos. I sent a Drive folder to the staff with both versions and a message that they could 'nibble' at the learning or 'swallow it whole', depending on their comfort with the material and learning style. I used Screencastify to record the shorter videos and Wondershare FilmoraX to stitch them together into the final product.
